The China International Medical Equipment Exhibition (CIMEE), also known as the Bohai Rim Medical Expo.
The China International Medical Equipment Exhibition (CIMEE), also known as the Bohai Rim Medical Expo, is a medical industry trade show jointly organized by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and other institutions. It was held from June 25 to 27, 2015. This year’s exhibition is hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission and other organizations, and is taking place at the Tianjin Binhai International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition has been held for four consecutive sessions, with a total exhibition area exceeding 60,000 square meters. It has attracted thousands of companies, drawn over 100,000 professional visitors, and generated transaction volumes totaling hundreds of billions of RMB. For the 2015 edition, the exhibition is expected to cover an area of 20,000 square meters, drawing more than 600 exhibitors and over 50,000 visitors. The exhibition covers a wide range of fields, including medical devices, diagnostic and treatment equipment, and medical information technology. At the same time, the event also features the International Bioeconomy Conference, high-level forums, and technology matchmaking activities. U.S. brands such as General Electric, Dongsoft, and Blue Cloud are all participating in this year’s exhibition. Academician Sang Guowei of the Chinese Academy of Engineering has attended every session of the exhibition.
